We were so lost!
We started the day slowly with tons and tons (liters and liters?) of tea. Around noon we went out for ice cream. Me and Juliane bought some birthday presents for Fionna since it’s her birthday on monday, and I don’t think she notices. We were very sneaky… (Not as sneaky as Nidde, but he is sneaky de luxe). After gift-shopping we went to the ice cream parlour. The walnut ice cream wasn’t very good, it was too sweet. But the Cherry Mania! OMG! The ice cream was a little tangy, and filled with chocolate covered crisps and sour cherries. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. We followed Juliane home and left the gifts, and then me and Fionna went for a walk in the Bergesdorf forrest. It’s very very beautiful in there. But also very very confusing. Wich ended up in us getting lost. We came out of the forrest in Wentorf, but we didn’t know that. It took us another houre walking and asking for directions ’till we found out where we were. Wich was 25 minutes by bus from where we live. But we found a bus stop and could take the bus back wich was nice since we had been walking for something like three houres if you only count from when we started walking in the forrest and not the shopping/ice cream walk.
We went back to the Oktoberfest-ground so that I could buy a quarkbelchen before going up to Juliane to make dinner.
The evening were spent looking at pictures, talking, drinking more tea and teaching me how to knit. I knew the basics, but I can really use some practice… And learn some more techniques. But now it’s way to late, so I’m gonna go brush my teeth and get in bed with my knitting and a book!
